Occombe Farm is an organic farm on the edge of Paignton, South Devon. We have a 2km easy-access nature trail, education centre, award-winning farm shop and cafe featuring the best of local food, together with an in-house organic butchery and organic artisan bakery. Our Mission
Occombe Farm aims to reconnect people with food, farming and the countryside. Our unique setting and combination of open organic farm, education centre, farm shop, butchery, bakery, café, nature trail, events and interactive media demonstrates how the food we eat shapes the countryside we live in.
Nowhere else in the region can you get this close to local wildlife, experience the day-to-day workings of an organic open farm and sample authentic Devon food and drink.

the Farm Shop...
We have recently introduced fresh products to our deli counter from Red Earth Deli, including: Red earth dip, chicken liver pate, fresh basil pesto,
and tsatziki.
We are now stocking Bays latest bottled beer - Breaker Ale, to join Bays Gold on the shelves.
Also, Rod and Ben's fresh organic soup (produced using local veg) is back by popular demand - to warm us all up on these cold summer days!

We have been very busy silaging recently - when the weather has allowed it.
Our new Maran chicks are 1 month old now and growing quickly. We have also had four more calfs born - two bull calfs and two heifers.

An exciting new 'green' development
Work on Torbay's first straw bale building is almost complete. Students from South Devon College carried out the construction work on the building, which will soon become our new Education Centre - come and see the unique development for yourself
