Memorial seats at Cockington

Memorial seats provide a lasting and useful memorial in a beautiful spot to remember loved ones. Spaces for seats at our sites are occasionally available. If you would like to discuss a possible location, please contact us.

All prices for Benches include delivery, installation and a plaque. Although treated by the manufacturers before delivery, natural weathering of the wood will occur. If further treatment is necessary, this will be as per the manufacturer's recommendations. We undertake to look after the benches for 10 years, after which, if treatment is necessary, we will contact you to discuss the necessary course of action.

Memorial Trees at Conqueror Wood

Tree Dedications - £40

A new 18-acre wood was planted at Conqueror Wood (just off the Torbay ring road at the junction with Shiphay) in 2005. Planted to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar, Conqueror Wood has spectacular views over the whole of Torbay as well as good access.

Trees planted in Conqueror Wood are not marked or identified in any way, but we offer a planting certificate and chance to plant the tree, with help from our Rangers.

Tree planting takes place in November and January. To order a tree, or to find out more, contact Kate Foster on 01803 606035 or e-mail kate@countryside-trust.org.uk . Leave your name and address to receive a leaflet and form about planting trees at Conqueror Wood.
