National Whale & Dolphin Watch 2023
Help us collect data about whales, dolphins and porpoises around the UK.
Watches and surveys will be taking place across the country to create a ‘snapshot’ view of what can be seen in our UK coastal waters. The data collected during this event will enable the Sea Watch Foundation to develop an idea of the distribution of whales, dolphins and porpoises around the UK. This event is a great opportunity for everyone to become involved in the research which goes into understanding and protecting these magnificent creatures.
Join us at Berry Head on the headland between 7am until 5pm from 31st July until 4th August.
No need to book – just turn up at the end of the headland (with binoculars if you have them).
It would be helpful if you could plan to participate in blocks of at least one hour.
