Our exciting new visitor attraction is a mix of indoor and outdoor play and activities for the whole family.
Come and play in the new indoor play barn. A unique space for outdoor play; indoors! For exploring and inspiring children aged 2–12 years. A space for make-believe, fantasies and imaginary adventures. There’s outdoor play too, a giant haystack maze for climbing, hiding and sliding fun!
There’s a self-guided trail will through the Animal Encounters Barn and a Farm Animal Trail with animal paddocks.
Come cuddle the cutest bunnies and guinea pigs. Chuckle with the naughty goats, watch the very bouncy grey-faced Dartmoor sheep and spot the different breeds of chickens including some very cool and super fluffy silkies! There’s a couple of very pretty Shetland ponies too.

Located at the heart of the farm, the Cafe is surrounded by beautiful countryside and with stunning views across Torbay. The menu is varied and crammed with locally sourced produce, with lots of delicious homemade, creative dishes. We’re open 7 days a week, 9am – 5pm, for our famous Occombe breakfast, hearty lunches and speciality salads, cakes, treats and snacks. There’s an extensive fresh coffee menu, teas and cold drinks, options especially for children and a selection of free from dishes too.
Within the Farm Park & Play there will also be a kiosk offering a selection of drinks and snacks, and a simple, healthy lunch menu for kids and grown-ups.
Shop local at Occombe Farm Shop. A whopping 75% of products are sourced from across Devon and the West Country. Fresh, chilled and baked foods to wholefoods, local wines, beers, ciders and spirits, and lifestyle and gifts.
We promise a very special, local shopping experience; one where you’ll be able to buy milk from a dispenser, wholefoods by weight, meat reared on our doorstep, even sourdough baked on the edge of Dartmoor.
We’re open every day. Mondays – Saturdays, 9am – 5pm. Sundays, 10.00am – 4.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you.
