The scarecrows are making a triumphant return to Occombe Farm this October half-term. Leaving their patches behind to embark on a new thrilling adventure. These charming characters, gathered from Cockington, Berry Head, and the fields around Occombe, come bearing a brand-new story, a fresh mystery to solve, and a naughty villain to defeat.

Scarecrow Trail

Dates: Saturday 21st – Tuesday 31^st October 2023, 10am – 5.30pm

The Big Occombe Scarecrow Trail promises a spellbinding experience for families, friends, and adventurers of all ages. Spot the scarecrows, listen to their stories, and unlock the secrets that will guide them back to their fields. Are you ready for the challenge? Trail sheets are £2 which includes a trail sheet, pencil and a sweet prize at the end.

Storytelling and crafts

Spooky Storytelling – Monday 23rd, Wednesday 25th & Friday 27th October, 2pm – 4pm
Halloween Crafting session – Tuesday 24th & Thursday 26th October, 2pm – 4pm.

Pumpkin Patch 

Our pumpkin patch will be open from 11.30am – 12pm and then 3.30pm – 4pm from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 31st October.*

*Pumpkins individually priced and subject to availability.

In our Farm Shop there’s an array of Halloween themed treats, gifts and decorations.

Kids Scarecrow Afternoon Tea  

In our Farm Cafe we are offering a deliciously gruesome Halloween themed afternoon tea for kids. Featuring a mouth-watering array of miniature sandwiches, delectable cakes, and wobbly, colourful jelly treats. Available between 2.30pm – 4pm, just £9.95 per child and booking is essential.
