Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust is an independent, local registered charity working to protect Torbay’s green heritage for the future. Our team of dedicated staff, trustees and tireless volunteers will ensure that your legacy goes directly to where it is most needed to conserve the natural beauty of Torbay.
Many of Torbay’s special places hold a host of happy memories for many of us. They are all wildlife havens and home to many rare and beautiful species. We hold these sites and others in trust for the people of Torbay and for our visitors.
Your legacy, large or small, will help ensure that the Trust can continue to protect all these special places as well as 22 miles of coast path across Torbay, long into the future. Just look at some of the things your legacy could be used for.
Cockington Country Park
To preserve the parkland, water-meadows, historic lakes and estate walks.
Berry Head National Nature Reserve
To protect Berry Head’s rare plant life, seabird colonies, the greater horseshoe bats (that have made their home here) and the historic Napoleonic forts.
Occombe
To protect this Site of Special Scientific Interest, to continue to improve access for all and support our educational work on the farm.
South West Coast Path
To help conserve Torbay’s stunning coast path for all future generations.
Other Trust locations
The Trust protects many other sites in the Bay and you can specify that your legacy is used to protect the one most important one to you.
