We have a wide range of different roles to choose from based at either Occombe Farm, Berry Head National Nature Reserve or Cockington Country Park.

Types of Volunteer Roles
Land Management, Conservation & Gardening
Help care for some of Torbay’s most treasured green spaces, including:
- Cockington Country Park – Assisting with gardening and maintenance of this beautiful country park including our Memorial Rose Garden. See our Role Profile for more info.

Animal Care
Love animals? Volunteer at Occombe Farm and help care for our friendly farm animals, ensuring their well-being and supporting our educational programs.

Once you submit your application, we’ll invite you for an informal chat to learn more about your interests and match you with the perfect role. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and discover how you can make an impact.
Following this, all volunteers take part in our induction programme, ensuring you feel fully prepared and supported in your new role. Whether you’re helping with land management, animal care, or event support, we’ll equip you with everything you need to get started.
